Edit
  TEAM RECORD REMARKS NEXT SERIES
, Last Week: 1 28-6 (9-3) The Gators keep marching along towards a probable SEC regular season title. They hit a speed bump in Knoxville falling to the Vols 6-4 on Sunday (game 2). The Gators have already faced the second best team in the SEC (Arkansas). Only one team has a winning SEC record of the Gators' remaining conference series. remaining six SEC Home series with Missouri.
, Last Week: 3 24-9 (8-4) The Hogs bounced back after a road series loss to Ole Miss by sweeping Auburn. The Razorbacks have played a fairly tough conference slate so far. They look to be very difficult to unseat from the top of the East. Home series with South Carolina.
, Last Week: 2 27-6 (7-5) Ole Miss was stunned this weekend with an unexpected series loss at rival Mississippi State. It doesn't get any easier as the Rebels now must visit Nashville to face a team that swept MSU in Starkville. Road series with Vanderbilt.
, Last Week: 4 19-13 (7-5) Vandy took two out of three against Georgia. The Dores' probably would have swept if now for some ridiculous errors late in the Thursday game. Home series with Ole Miss.
, Last Week: 6 23-9 (8-4) Georgia lost its first series of the season but at least avoided being shutout. Georgia is dangerous because the Bulldogs, while not at the top in many stats, hover around the middle of the SEC in just about every statistic. Home series with Kentucky.
, Last Week: 5 20-13 (6-6) LSU fell 2-1 in a series at Texas A&M. The Tigers need to make a solid showing against visiting Tennessee this weekend in order to maintain their spot in the top 25. Home series with Tennessee.
, Last Week: 7 23-9 (6-6) Mizzou was on the short end of a tough, cold weather series with Alabama, falling two games to one. A close 2-1 Tiger loss in game 1 of that series was the difference. Missouri still sits at .500 league. The Tigers have a tough test coming up in Gainesville this weekend. Road series with Florida.
, Last Week: 10 23-9 (5-7) A 2-1 series win over LSU was the Aggies first series victory of the season. Upcoming series with Alabama and Tennessee offer A&M a chance to gain ground in the SEC standings. Road series with Alabama.
, Last Week: 11 22-10 (5-7) The Wildcats pulled off a 2-1 series win over South Carolina. Upcoming series with Georgia and Florida won't be easy. Road series with Georgia.
, Last Week: 12 19-14 (5-7) Tennessee lost the series but won the war, so to speak, by beating Florida in the final game of the series. The Vols are much improved over 2017. They have a shot at winning another series this weekend at LSU. Road series with LSU.
, Last Week: 13 20-13 (5-7) Alabama moves up in the Power Poll after pulling out a series victory at Missouri. Bama has already won as many games in 2018, with 6 series remaining, as it did in 2017. Hosting Texas A&M this weekend, don't be surprised to see the Tide add one or two more wins to that league total. Home series with Texas A&M.
, Last Week: 14 17-16 (4-8) It had been a dismal first three SEC series for State but a series win over rival Ole Miss has the Starkville folks rejuvenated again. A sweep at Auburn this weekend would put the Bulldogs one game under .500 in the SEC Road series with Auburn.
, Last Week: 9 18-14 (5-7) The Gamecocks fell in Lexington 2 games to 1. USC has four tough series in a row coming up, starting with Arkansas this weekend. Road series with Arkansas.
, Last Week: 8 23-10 (4-8) Auburn was swept by Arkansas. They'll face another 4-8 team this weekend in Miss. State. The team that loses that will likely be at the bottom of the Power Poll next week. Home series with Mississippi State.
