The Southeastern Conference opened league baseball play over the weekend with some surprising results. Here is a look at the SEC Stock Exchange for Week 1.

AUBURN- The Tigers pulled off the unthinkable with a 3-game home sweep over No. 1 ranked Florida. The Auburn travels to Georgia in week 2.
ARKANSAS- The Hogs swept Mississippi State in Fayetteville. After close games on Friday (3-1) and Saturday (5-4), the Razorbacks prevailed 6-1 on Sunday. Arkansas visits neighboring Missouri this weekend.
KENTUCKY- UK also had a surprising opening series with a sweep at Texas A&M. The Wildcats host Ole Miss for week 2.
MISSOURI- The Tigers swept Alabama in Tuscaloosa outscoring the Tide 19-9 in three games. The Tigers host Arkansas in week 2.
SOUTH CAROLINA- The Gamecocks bullied Tennessee in Knoxville with a 3-game sweep including a 10-2 victory on Sunday. Carolina hosts Alabama in week 2.
LSU- The Tigers pulled up 34 runs in a 3-game sweep over Georgia. The Tigers will face the Gators in Gainesville for week 2.

OLE MISS- The Rebels won two of three against Vanderbilt in Oxford on their league-opening weekend. They will travel to Kentucky in week 2.
VANDERBILT- Vandy lost its opening conference series at Ole Miss with a 1-0 loss on Friday and a 10-8 verdict on Sunday. Vandy will get A&M in Nashville this weekend. Last season the Commodores faced the Aggies five times, twice in Hoover and three times in College Station.

GEORGIA- The Bulldogs had a tough draw in week 1 of SEC play. They host a likely over-confident Auburn team in week 2.
FLORIDA- After a tough start to the 2017 SEC ledger the Gators must get things back in order. They are loaded with talent so look for improvement as the season progresses but things won't be easy versus LSU this weekend.
TENNESSEE- This is a make or break season for Tennessee head coach Dave Serrano. Things won't get much easier with a trip to Mississippi State this weekend.
TEXAS A&M- The Aggies lost a ton of talent from their explosive 2016 squad. They now must face an improving Vandy team in Nashville.
MISSISSIPPI STATE- Don't let State's 0-3 record fool you. They will be among the top teams in the West before it's over. A 3-game series in Starkville against Tennessee this weekend should be good medicine.
ALABAMA- Most SEC fans are probably wondering is Missouri that good? or is Alabama that bad? It doesn't get any easier for Bama with series at South Carolina this weekend.

The first week was pretty much feast or famine for every team except for Vandy and Ole Miss with six teams going 3-0 for the weekend and six 0-3. A lot of fans are likely either thrilled or disheartened by their team's early start. The fortunate ones shouldn't get too excited and the unfortunate shouldn't get too distressed. The week 2 standings are normally very different from week 1.
